RESEARCH:  Microscopy and Microanalysis, Echocardiography; Lamberton.

 

Australian Key Centre for Microscopy and Microanalysis (AKCMM)
Postgraduate Stipend Scholarship

For a research project leading to a PhD; this doctoral research program
is concerned with the mechanisms of strengthening in Al-Cu-Mg alloys;
applicants should have an H1 or 2A; $20,007 pa; up to 1 year (with a
possible extension of 2.5 years).

Post Graduate Scholarship in Echocardiography

For a suitably qualified candidate with Medical degrees, and
postgraduate specialty training in Cardiology (FRACP) to undertake
research studies leading to a Masters Degree in Medicine; the project is
to investigate the determinants of late pulmonary hypertension after
pulmonary embolism and will require extensive expertise in
echocardiography; $25,872 pa; up to 1 year.

John A Lamberton Research Scholarships

For postgraduate scholars of exceptional ability who are working toward
higher degrees at the University of Sydney in areas emanating from and
inspired by the work of Dr John A Lamberton or in the area of science
aimed at chemical understanding of brain function and malfunction;
depending on available funding and the number of successful applicants
Scholarships shall either provide a full stipend valued at or above the
APA rate of $20,007 pa or shall be Supplementary Scholarships.
