Due to the ‘zeno trap’ (which greatly improves ion transmission from Q3 to the TOF) it has unparalleled sensitivity and due to the EAD fragmentation if gives rich MSMS spectra which would be of interest to anyone doing lipidomics, metabolomics or working on post translationally modified peptides such as disulphide bonds or glycosylation.
