<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body style="overflow-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;"><div><div>Dear Colleagues,</div><div><br></div><div>We are pleased to announce the upcoming conference Advances in Cool Evolved Stars (ACES), which will be held on 8–12 July 2024 at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.</div><div><br></div><div>The goal of ACES is to bring together researchers working on all aspects of cool evolved stars — especially AGB and post-AGB stars and red supergiants.</div><div><br></div><div>A non-exhaustive list of scientific topics includes stellar evolution, nucleosynthesis, pulsations, distance scales, mass loss, circumstellar material, dust formation, binary interactions, transitions to other objects and evolutionary stages, and population synthesis. We will welcome contributions on any of these topics, which may come from the perspective of observations, modelling and/or theory of the chemical or physical states of these stars and their (circumstellar) environments.</div><div><br></div><div>Registration and abstract submission will open by mid-January.
