<div dir="ltr"><div>Dear Colleagues,</div><div><br></div><div>A generous PhD scholarship funded by Nova Systems at the Curtin University node of ICRAR is available. The project is "<span style="font-weight:normal"><font size="2">The Development of a Dedicated Low-Frequency Passive Radar Array for Space Domain Awareness" and involves the translation of technologies and techniques out of radio astronomy and into the area of Space Domain Awareness - the detection, tracking, and characterisation of Resident Space Objects (RSOs: satellites and space junk).</font></span></div><div><span style="font-weight:normal"><font size="2"><br></font></span></div><div><span style="font-weight:normal"><font size="2">We are building a dedicated SDA facility at the Nova Systems Space precinct in South Australia (Peterborough) and the PhD student will be involved in a range of activities, from assisting with construction and commissioning to data collection, processing, and analysis. The student would be based at Curtin University but would travel to South Australia occasionally, or to the Nova Systems HQ in Canberra.<br></font></span></div><div><span style="font-weight:normal"><font size="2"><br></font></span></div><div><span style="font-weight:normal"><font size="2">Please feel free to circulate to anyone who may be interested.
