<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Organised for students, by students, the Mount Stromlo Student Seminars has been running for over 10 years and welcomes anyone completing undergraduate, honour/master or PhD degrees from an Australian university.
This is a <b>virtual</b> conference hosted at the beautiful Mt Stromlo on Ngambri and Ngunnawal country (Canberra). <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">This year's theme is "arts and crafts" and will be a safe and inclusive space for students to showcase their work through a series of light-hearted talks. We have a range of invited speakers, including the
incredible <b>Ken Freeman</b>, who will tell us what it was like to have<i> </i>
Paul Dirac as your quantum mechanics lecturer and what Steven Hawking and Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar were like as people. Exploding stars specialist and Sci-Com extraordinaire
<b>Heloise Stevance</b> will teach us how to effectively communicate our science. And we will hear from academics from all stages, postdocs to professors, in our<b> professional development in academia panel</b>.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
