On behalf of the Local and Scientific Organising Committees, this is the first announcement of the <b>14th Edoardo Amaldi Conference on Gravitational Waves (Amaldi14)</b>.<br>
<br>
The conference will be a virtual edition, taking place on <b>July 19-23, 2021</b>. The format is not yet fully finalized, however we are aiming to make good use of the online meeting tools available. To ensure attendees can have an opportunity to engage and
participate in talks and discussions live, we will be allocating multiple 2 hour session blocks across the day to accommodate different time zones. <br>
