The ASA is pleased to announce formally that the <i>University of Melbourne</i> will host the 2021 ASA Annual Scientific Meeting and Harley Wood School for Astronomy. The Chair of the meeting and lead of the organising committees is A/Prof Christian Reichardt,
supported by Ms Kim Dorrell.</div>

The ASM will be held in the week of Monday July 12 - Friday July 16, 2021, and will be preceded by the HWSA.</div>

At this stage, the ASM will be a fully virtual meeting, while there are some face-to-face options being explored for the HWSA. The committee will provide further information in the new year, with the understanding that future restrictions for travel etc might
require a flexible format.<br>

The ASA Council is seeking bids from institutions wishing to host the <i>2022</i> Annual Scientific Meeting of the ASA and the 2022 Harley Wood School for Astronomy (HWSA). Council is seeking bids that include face-to-face
<i>and</i> virtual/online access to the meeting, to have greater flexibility for attendance of future ASA events.<br>
