Applications for the <i>Bushfire Data Quest</i> (7-14 August
2020) have been <b>extended until Monday June 8th</b> and the
program is now <b>accepting individual applicants</b>.</p>
<p>Are you a PhD student or postdoc with skills in data science,
machine learning, Earth-observations, bushfire science or a
similar field? If so, <b>we need you</b> to help <b>solve key
problems in bushfire remediation</b> for Australia and New
Zealand. <br>

<p> The <i>Bushfire Data Quest</i> is an <b>online research
accelerator program</b> that brings together small
interdisciplinary teams for a week of intensive research. Teams
will be supported by world-class researchers, dedicated compute
resources and an international faculty of experts from the <i>Frontier
Development Lab</i> community (<a href="https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/j40dC4QOPEiA2vQjixlOKd?domain=fdl.ai">http://fdl.ai</a>).
Individual participants will be <b>paid a stipend of $1,000 AUD</b>
and will benefit from the program via:<br>
