We are happy to announce the availability of Data Release 1 (DR1) of the Mopra Galactic Plane CO survey. This covers 10° of the Galactic Plane from l=320° to 330°, b=+/-0.5° (with an extension to b=1° for l=327-330°).

The data can be downloaded from www.mopra.org/data<http://www.mopra.org/data>

DR1 contains fits data cubes for the 12CO, 13CO, C18O and C17O J=1-0 lines, at a resolution of ~0.5 arcmin / 0.1 km/s.

The data cubes cover 1° of longitude and are available on a 0.5° spacing. The spectral range is +/- 500 km/s in the case of 12CO, somewhat less for the other isotopologues. Cubes with both the complete spectral range, and also with a smaller range covering just the Galactic emission (-150 km/s < Vlsr < +50 km/s) are available.

The data is described further in Braiding et al, 2014, PASA, 32, e020 and also at the project home page, www.phys.unsw.edu.au/mopraco<http://www.phys.unsw.edu.au/mopraco>.

The next data release, covering ~9 sq. deg in the Carina region, will be available shortly (Rebolledo et al. 2016). ~85 sq. deg. of the Southern Galactic plane has now been surveyed. We aim to release the data for the region between 300°-350° early next year. If you are interested in access to this data before publication please contact us.

Thank-you

Michael Burton
Catherine Braiding
