APPLICATIONS OPEN: POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP SCHEMES

Expressions of interest are now open for outstanding researchers within 1-6 years of the award of their PhD to undertake research in the School of Physics at The University of Sydney.

Postdoctoral Research Fellowship for Women

The prestigious Professor Harry Messel Research Fellowship was established in 1980 from a donation to the School of Physics by Cecil and Ida Green.

The School of Physics has obtained an exemption order from the NSW Anti-Discrimination Board to recruit a female candidate to the Professor Harry Messel Research Fellowship.

Successful applicants can hold this Fellowship on a part-time basis.

University of Sydney Postdoctoral Research Fellowships

The University of Sydney Postdoctoral Fellowships were established in 1996 to support excellence in full-time research undertaken in the University. The Fellowships are highly competitive internationally in line with equivalent externally funded fellowships. They are intended to support early career researchers. Applicants must have an outstanding track record relative to opportunity in order to be short-listed.

Application Process and Deadlines
