Dear All,

Three new ICRAR science job advertisements have just been posted:

1+2. Senior Research Fellow / Principle Research Fellow / Senior Principle Research Fellow (Level C, D or E: two positions):
ICRAR is seeking to fill two senior appointments to take a leading research and research supervision role at ICRAR in an area in astronomy and astrophysics related to one or more of the core research strengths of ICRAR. The positions are tenurable at UWA with the first five years being for research. There may be UWA teaching and other duties after this period, as directed. ICRAR will provide a startup package and generous travel and research support. The successful appointees will collaborate with national and international science teams on projects of fundamental importance, particularly with large-scale surveys, simulations and projects that will help support science with the SKA, its pathfinders and other national and international facilities. See http://www.icrar.org/employment for more details.
Deadline: 21 November 2014

3. The Jim Buckee Fellow in Astrophysics (Level A):
ICRAR is looking for a highly motivated scientist to apply for the prestigious Jim Buckee Fellowship in Astrophysics to undertake research in supercomputer modelling of the formation and evolution of galaxies using supercomputer simulations. See http://www.icrar.org/employment or contact Chris Power (Chris.Power at icrar.org<mailto:Chris.Power at icrar.org>) for more details.
Deadline: 28 November 2014

Further ICRAR2 positions to follow in next month’s AAS job register.

Regards,
Lister Staveley-Smith
