Dear ANITA and ASA members.

Due to the incessant need of humanity to control the Sun, in some parts of Australia daylight savings began last weekend, which i failed to factor in to my WA->VIC time conversion before sending the below ANITA lecture announcement.

The correct time for Aaron's lecture is tomorrow (Wednesday) 1PM ADST (i.e. one hour later than previously stated).

The ANITA webpage for the lecture is now live at http://anita.edu.au/lectures/; follow the links from there. Aaron's slides will be available to download shortly before we begin.

Thanks,
Darren

This lecture will be the second in a series of four, which together will build a full Bayesian framework with applications to astronomy using R. In this lecture we investigate the basic foundations of Bayes Theory, with emphasis on worked practical examples. The lecture concludes with two famous statistical problems, which the attentive student should be able to tackle with their new Bayesian toolkit.
