Notice of the Australian Astrobiology Meeting (July 2013)
 
The Australian Centre for Astrobiology and the University of New South Wales (UNSW) are pleased to invite you to the Australian Astrobiology Meeting.  The two-day conference is open to all with an interest in astrobiology. It will be held at the Sydney Kensington campus of UNSW on Monday the 1st and Tuesday the 2nd of July, 2013.
 
Of particular relevance to the astronomy community is a planned session devoted to astrobiology applications of the Square Kilometre Array (SKA).  Dr Lisa Harvey-Smith of CSIRO will present a keynote talk on the subject, followed by an interactive mini-workshop aimed at brainstorming ideas for novel science that can be conducted using the Phase 1 SKA instrument.
